Types of Trailers

  • Bumper pull horse trailer. This type is suitable for a small number of horses – one or two. It is cheaper than gooseneck trailer. This one is also easier and more convenient with respect to its control and turning. However, bumper pull horse trailers do not have as much place for sleeping quarters as gooseneck trailers do. If they are hitched correctly, there will be no problems with using them.

  • Gooseneck horse trailer. This type is very stable and versatile. It is bigger than other types and can carry approximately from six to eight horses. This is the safest one. There is always extra room inside and comfortable gooseneck area to keep stored items and tack. In that case they don’t slide down into the dressing room while moving.
  • Gooseneck horse trailer

  • Slant load horse trailer. This type helps you save some place, since you can lead horses into stalls which are slanted from left to right. Slanted position is natural for horses because they try to maintain good balance all the time. So if the slant isn’t to much for your horses, it will not make them uncomfortable.
  • Slant load horse trailer

  • Straight load horse trailer. This type is of traditional design. You lead horses from the back straight into the trailer. Such trailers have escape doors at the front. Straight load horse trailers provide more places for the horses in the stalls than usual ones, that is why they are more suitable for bigger horses.
  • Straight load horse trailer

Such horse trailers where you can have a rest while your horses are admiring the fresh air and the stars are as anything else improving nowadays all the time.
